Who runs it
The AmazingInfoJosh posting tool runs on its owner's own computer. It is not a public service: no one else can sign up, connect a Page or channel, or post through it. Questions go to amazinginfojosh@gmail.com.
What it uses from Facebook
With the owner's permission, the tool holds an access token for his own Facebook Page. It uses it to:
- schedule the Page's own videos (as Reels) and photo posts, with the text the owner wrote;
- read the Page's list of scheduled posts and the status of the videos it uploaded, so each post is created only once;
- read the Page's name and ID, to check that the connection still works.
It does not read anyone's profile, friends, messages or comments.
What it uses from YouTube
When the owner connects his YouTube channel, the tool uses YouTube API Services to upload and schedule his own videos and to read their status. It does not access anyone else's YouTube account.
Google's own handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The tool's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
What it stores, and where
Everything stays on the owner's PC:
- The access tokens, each as a separate local file. They are never written into the code or a log, and are sent only to Facebook or Google, over an encrypted connection, when the tool makes a call.
- A record of each post: its folder name, time slot, text, the ID that Facebook or YouTube returned, and its state (for example "scheduled").
- A log of what the tool did and when.
These records exist so that a post is never sent twice. The owner can delete them at any time.
What it never does
- collect, store or ask for information about any other person;
- sell, rent or trade any data;
- use data for advertising, profiling or tracking;
- pass data it gets from Facebook or YouTube to any other company.
This website
These pages use no cookies, no scripts and no analytics.
The site is reached through Cloudflare, which handles each connection, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Removing access and deleting data
The owner can remove the tool's access at any time: on Facebook under Settings, Business integrations, and on Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is removed, the stored tokens and the records from that platform are deleted within 7 days.
Anyone can ask for deletion: see Data deletion.
Changes and contact
If the tool starts using data in a new way, this page is updated first and the date at the top changes. Contact: amazinginfojosh@gmail.com.
